Knebel, Gerard G. "Boopsie" Irondequoit: Friday, April 21, 2023. Gerard is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nicolette "Nici" Knebel; children, Albert (Ann) and their children, Alyssa, Taylor and Nick; Gerard (Jennifer) and their daughter, Rachel; Martin (Francine), Maurice (ShanShan) and their children, Mia and Harry; Kurt, Nancy (Garrick) Ward; and their children, Haiden and Griffin; sister, Beverly (Anton) Fuierer; sister-in-law, Christine Haney and brother-in-law, Fred Smallenburg and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. His family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, April 29, at 11am at St. Kateri at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses may be requested at St. Thomas the Apostle or memorials directed to Sodus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 6884 Maple Ave., Sodus, NY 14551.
