Obituary of Marlene A. Bianchi

Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her parents, George and Philomena Conte, brother, Richard; beloved canine companion, Tia Too. She is survived by her children, Doug (Ann), Cheryl (Howard) Bianchi-Bigelow, Lisa (Nick Bytchkow) and Dominick (Helen); grandchildren, Marisa Bianchi, Marc (Gina), Alexa (Dylan)Weeks, Robert (Tawna) Bigelow, Michael Bigelow, Jeremy (Renee), Matthew (Jen) Barrett, Nick (Ann) Bianchi; great grandchildren, Lucia, Siena, Brando, Liam, Wyatt, Alorah, Mason, Madison, Cole, Danae, Robert Jr., and Lyana; several nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Marlene started her career in nursing at Park Avenue/Park Ridge Hospitals then continued at Wilson Health Center from which she retired.

Some of her many passions were interior decorating, gardening, baking, cooking (especially when it involved making favorite dishes of family members), caring for her many pets and growing her beloved Christmas Cactus. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage, relaxing in the sun to achieve that perfect tan.

Mom was the consummate shopper and cleaner and if Cleanliness is truly next to Godliness, as the saying goes, that alone has assured her ascension. But her greatest love and accomplishment was being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a good friend.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the good folks at St. Ann’s for their incredible care of our mother/grandmother these final months.
