Gary and family,
We felt such sadness when we learned of Karen’s passing. She was a wonderful person with a cheerful and friendly personality which drew you in. I have fond memories of spending time together as our children went through school. She was her children’s best cheerleader! In the past few years we would occasionally spot each other at Wegman’s and stand in some aisle chatting away about children and grandchildren. She always made my day happier when I saw her.
We send our condolences to your family - she will be missed.
With sympathy,
Sheila and Bob Roney

To the Muisus family,
I am so sorry for your great loss. Knowing Karen through her sister Doris and her family since our college days, Doris has remained my best friend, and always kept me up-to-date on Karen’s beautiful family. I was glad Karen and I got to visit at Dara’s wedding. Rest in peace sweet Karen!
Sincerely,

Dear Gary and Family,
Karen's smile, her kindness, and can do attitude added so much to our time together in the Iroquois office. Her fun out look led to those "crazy road trips" that Linda mentioned and so much more. Thank you Karen for so many wonderful memories.
My deepest sympathy to all of you,
Marcha Zimmerman

Karen was someone who was very special. I was with Gary when the two of them first met in our college dormitory. It was in the elevator (we charged in before the door closed) and he and I struck up a conversation with the two pretty women who were in there. We chatted for a bit and then we all party-hopped as the norm in a dorm. The next morning he told me that he thought Karen, with whom he had gotten to know the night before, was "the one." He was smitten by her warmth, beauty, intelligence and joyfulness. Call it serendipity or "sliding doors," it led to a wonderful marriage and an amazing, amazing family. I think of you all.
We we all so lucky to have known Karen. She will be missed very much.

Karen was my dearest friend, who I loved with all my heart. When you lose that precious friend and all the memories come flooding in "it takes my breath away". We shared so much through our time together, laughter "so much laughter". Our children grew up together and were always welcome in each other's home. Our crazy road trips with Marcia Zimmerman and Deb Munyan took us all over the place. We were so excited when Macy's opened up here and spent hours going through all the bargain racks. After we both hosted Thanksgiving we would be up at the crack of dawn and off to the Waterloo Mall for a full day of shopping. We had so many good times because of the beautiful, loving friend she was. Karen was one of a kind and will be missed forever. All my love, thoughts and prayers go out to all her family at this most difficult time.

Dear Muisus family,
I did not know Karen well, but she was the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression on you. Her smile, her welcoming and warm personality. The Muisus house was a place that the “kids” loved to gather at. I am so sorry for your loss. Her memory will always be a blessing.
Prayers to each of you,
Marcia & Patrick Barrett

Having been next door neighbors with
Karen, Jamie , Doris ,Beatrice and Kenneth for decades in Dumont , NJ (and when I say ‘next door ‘ I mean a few yards - close enough that Jamie and I would play our clarinets and Karen her accordion through our respective open windows ). My relationship with Karen went beyond one of the occasional ‘ little sister ‘ contact - Karen and I shared a wonderful and long term friendship strengthened the summer Jamie travelled to France
Through the years , I was blessed to see Karen at family celebrations for baby showers , weddings , and the like. She grew more beautiful in body and spirit with each passing year and her infectious laugh and upbeat personality are part of my multitude of memories of her. I was devastated to learn of her passing and offer my deepest condolences to her family , friends , children and grandchildren. Karen’s legacy will be eternal. Rest in peace , my dearest friend - you will be forever missed. In remembrance , Andrea

Dear Gary,
My heart is broken for you. As much as I teach to celebrate lives lost of those who have suffered with illness, it always seems the most difficult pill to swallow when it comes to our own friends and relatives. There are no words to express my condolences, just please know that I am keeping you in my prayers and if there is anything we can do to help you out in any way, please don't hesitate to call on us. I'll see you Sunday.
Blessings and grace be with you, my friend.

What an extraordinary, beautiful, generous marvel of a lady. I only got to know Karen as a Harley grandmother, but what a wonderful presence she was in our community. I'm so thankful to have known her, and so sorry for amazing Gary and the whole family. I know she'll be missed, exquisitely, but I hope her memory and love with stay with you all forever. Yours, Larry

Karen is a spark of energy, always doing things for others and a master at organizing and decor.
She has been my sister in law for 48 years, and a friend for all that and more.
You will be greatly missed by all that knew you. It is time now for you to rest and prepare a spot for
all of us for when we join you and all of those that went on before us.
Rest peacefully Karen, Love Jim
