Obituary of John Shuryn

Shuryn, John Irondequoit: Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife, Mary and sister, Mary Kowalevich in Ukraine. He is survived by his son, Robert; daughter, Anne; 3 grandchildren, Heather (Jerome) St. Croix, Danielle Shuryn, Stephen (Amanda) Shuryn; 6 great grandsons; 2 sisters, Olga Bielka and Anna Werner; brother, Basil Shuryn; many nieces nephews. John was a former member of SUMA, member of Ukrainian Westside Club, LEMKO of Western Ukraine; Zaparaska Sitch Society. His family will receive friends TUESDAY 4-7PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 6:30pm Friends are invited to meet the family WEDNESDAY 10:00AM at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
