Obituary of Frances Theresa Schwehm

Frances Theresa Schwehm was born in Rochester, New York on November 24, 1933 to Angelo Conoscenti and Carmella (Maenza) Conoscenti. She had one sister, Sally Martilotta.

Fran met Daniel J. Schwehm who was the love of her life. They married and became parents to two sons. Daniel and David were treasured by both Fran and Dan. Family was of utmost importance to Fran and being a wife and mother brought her great joy. Through the years the family continued to grow to include grandchildren; Patrick, Jacqueline, Nicholas, Zachary, and step-grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, and A.J. Blessings flowed as great -grandchildren arrived in Ryan, Alyssa, and Carly, and step great-grandchildren in Liam and Alessandra.

Frances was a devout Catholic. She was a very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst, NC and shared her love of singing as the cantor in the church for many years. She was a soprano in the choir and truly enjoyed every moment as she shared her gift of voice in the liturgy.

In her spare time, Fran was an avid reader, enjoyed playing golf, and knitting. She was a very talented cook and often had friends over for dinner. Fran enjoyed talking with people and was always ready to reminisce and share stories with family and friends.

Frances is survived by her sons, Daniel (Joanie) Schwehm, and David (Joanne) Schwehm, her grandchildren; Patrick Schwehm, Jacqueline (Tom) Hare, Nicholas Schwehm, Zachary Schwehm, her step grandchildren Michael (Sarah) Napoli, Catherine Gehring, and A.J. Napoli. Her great- grandchildren, Ryan Sak, Alyssa and Carly Hare, and her step great-grandchildren Liam and Alessandra Gehring.

Fran's Funeral Service will be held at the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 16th at 10am.
