Michael Dennis O'Neill

Irondequoit: Sunday, September 3, 2023 at age 84. Mike is predeceased by his devoted wife of 36 years, Yvonne Ward O'Neill, parents Martin O'Neill and Dorothy Schutt O'Neill. Mike grew up in Irondequoit, NY, a 1957 graduate of Irondequoit High School.

Mike is survived by his loving partner of 22 years, Bonnie Hyde, five children; Steven (Dana) O'Neill, David O'Neill, Timothy (Karen) O'Neill, Kelly (Steven) Oakes, Kathleen O'Neill (Alex Vazquez); brothers Thomas O'Neill of Rochester, NY and Dan (Bonnie) O'Neill of Frederick, MD. Grandchildren: Brandon (Marge) O'Neill, Shannon (Taylor) Bold, Shawn O'Neill, Andrew and Ryan Oakes, Riley, Makella and Mason O'Neill, Matilda Vazquez O'Neill, great granddaughter, Holland Bold. Extended family Debbie Hyde (Frank Kirschner), Mark (Maureen) Hyde, Jackie (Jeff) Kettlehone and families. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Mike was a US Navy Veteran. He attended RIT and then was an employee at Rochester Coca Cola for over 35 years in sales and distribution, where every coworker and customer became his lifelong friend.

Mike was an avid golfer at Twin Hills and Deerfield Country Club, winning many club championships and sinking numerous holes in one. Mike also spent hours in the pool at the YMCA swimming and playing pickleball. He enjoyed hunting, Rochester Amerks games, and he was a big fan at his children's and grandchildren's sporting events.

His family will receive friends Saturday, September 9, 2:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his service will follow at 4:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Philip Profetta.
