New York City: Katherine died on September 6, 2023. She is predeceased by her parents parents, Edward and Catherine Mayer; sister, Elizabeth Specksgoor; two brothers, William Mayer and Edward Mayer; a nephew, Michael Mayer; and two nieces, Patricia Mayer and Lisa Regruit.

Katherine was never married and her closest surviving relatives are nephews: William Mayer of Albany, NY; Richard Specksgoor of Katy, TX; William Specksgoor of Penfield, NY; and Daniel Specksgoor of Zionsville, IN. She is also survived by several loving grand nieces and grand nephews.

Katherine's graveside service will be held Wednesday September 20th at 2pm at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, please meet on the east side of the Lake ave gate.
