Our deepest condolences to Karin and Kevin's children. Kevin was a great man with a beautiful soul. He was so brave and so steadfast in his faith throughout it all! Kevin was the definition of strength and dignity! May his friends and family have comfort in knowing that he was a courageous hero! I will always remember our brief but meaningful talks my friend. I worked with Kevin at Lumen for the last 10 years, even though my interactions with him were not often, his character was evident. I knew he was a man of integrity and kindness. In 2015 I had the great pleasure of doing a feature on Kevin for the Catholic Courier, detailing his public-address work for the Red Wings and Amerks and his strong Catholic faith. We had a lot of fun with the story and I also enjoyed working with him with Rochester Men's Conferences. Super-nice guy, great family man, awesome Catholic role model. Kevin was a great friend to have as we began our college years. Rocking out to Huey Lewis, watching him rule the court during 3-point contests and devising late-night pranks and practical jokes…you couldn’t ask for a better co-conspirator! Karin & Family, I only knew Kevin for a short time since he began working on our team the last couple of years. One thing was undeniable, Kevin was an amazing man. I got to know Kevin through the Exult Rochester Catholic Men’s Conference planning team as well as our Fishers of Men group at St Pius X where I also met Daniel. I always think of him when at a Red Wings game, and the times he would stop by to say “Hi” at our seats. Kevin personified the good husband and father. My life is enriched for having known him.

I am pretty sure this was Kevin telling me he is at peace. Yesterday we drove up Equinox Mountain which has a Carthusian "monastery" secluded on its east side. On our way home the setting sun started to blind us and we just drove out of a downpour. In my side mirror I caught a glimpse of a rainbow and quickly pulled into a parking lot. I saw this full Cursillo rainbow and heard Kevin's voice. "All is good".
