Dear David, Annemarie, Jeff, and your families, We were saddened to hear about your mom, but we know she is now at peace. She was such a loving person and always made you feel loved and welcome. Although we haven't seen each other in many years, I have fond memories of when we were together. Especially at Long Lake in Canada. What wonderful times that I will always cherish. Sometimes a person's life can be unseen until they are gone. For me, Sue was one of these special people that somehow I have never really known but has managed to touch my life more than so many I have lost over the years. I, like so many many, imagined a sunflower of a person. Yes, a big smiley face, but it was what was in her that touches me the most. Somethings in life are like landmarks that change a person from that day forward. I can't wait to see her again and say Thank You. She left this world completely under and within the Love of God. I love the Spindler family. God bless you all.

I have such fond childhood memories of our dear Aunt Sue. She always made us feel so welcome during our visits from Texas to Rochester. Even though distance and time kept us physically separated, I’ve always felt a strong connection to her. She was an amazing woman with such a beautiful soul. Sending much love to our New York family during this difficult time.

This was Mom 1 month ago, shortly before she went into the hospital. There she is smiling as always! We are so blessed to have such a loving and prayerful mother for all these years. She touched so many lives and spread the love of God to everyone she encountered. We love her beyond words and will miss her greatly. Love to all from David, Annemarie and Jeff.

What can I say of a life well lived as our dear precious sister walked the talk. Anytime we would meet, I would say, "Sister Sue, I love you", and she would respond with, "I love you more"! Oh, such precious moments we had together whenever we would share the love of God together. She will be immensely missed as one of the great pillars of our little assembly. "Until then, our hearts will go on singing, until then, with joy we'll carry on, until the day our eyes behold the city, until the day God calls us home."
