Rochester: Monday, November 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his siblings, Theresa Grillo and Joseph Vella. He is survived by his children, Donna (Michael Samsen) Vella, Diana Marshall, David (Melissa) Vella, grandchildren, Christopher (Katie) Chatelaine-Samsen, Katie (Patrick) Beaudoin, Chelsea (Jason) Rosato, Jessica (Joel) Will, Ryan Vella, and Brianna Vella; great grandchildren, Junia, Jason, Isabella, Gabriella, Lincoln, and Lennon; sister, Carmella Koda; brother, John (Else) Vella.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, November 28, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 10:00am. Interment private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
