Obituary of Rose M. Guardalben

lovingly known as Nonna by her grandchildren, peacefully passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 92 in Rochester, NY. She was born on March 24, 1931, in Niagara Falls, NY, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Anita Cacciatori.

Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She found great joy in cooking, caring for her family, and receiving guests into her home. Her culinary skills and warm-hearted nature made her home a gathering place for countless memorable meals with family and friends. Her delicious dishes and nurturing presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Lisa Morey (Ed) and son Mark Guardalben (Paula), as well as her cherished grandchildren Bethany Morey (Daniel), Alanna Morey (Eric Pickens), Gabby Morey, Ethan Guardalben (Rebekah), Maia Schruise (Tyler), Serena Guardalben, Mamata Guardalben, and Aiden Guardalben. Siblings, Armand Cacciatore (Mimi) and Anita Tulino (Corky), and several nieces and nephews.  She is pre-deceased by her sisters, Louise Bellegia (Tony), Marie Gelose (Tony) and Edith LaDouceur (Bob) and brothers, Louis Cacciatore (Frances) and Frank Cacciatore Jr.

Family and friends are invited to join the family at the Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Highway South) on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11 AM to 1PM.  A Memorial Service for Rose will begin at 1PM.  Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to The Gerhardt Neighborhood Outreach Center - 890 N.
