Obituary of Joan A. Sherkus

Sherkus, Joan A. Rochester: Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the age of 91. Pre-deceased by her husband, Paul J. Sherkus; sister, Amelia Stugis; brother, John Kazak. She is survived by her children, John(Phyllis) Sherkus, Mary Ann Sherkus, Judith Bagley, Patty(Dan) Bubniak; grandchildren, Joel, Amy, Isaiah Bagley, Clare & Adam Bubniak; brother, Peter Kazak; sisters-in law, Dorothy & Julia Kazak; many nieces and nephews. Joan was a lifetime member of St. Georges Lithuanian Church and a member of The Golden Age Club at St. Stanislaus. She also was a retiree of Kodak and will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and die hard Yankee fan. Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 10:30 AM at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
