It is hard to look anywhere in our house and not see the hand of Jerry VanHorne. He installed our window upgrades, he resided the front of our house, he did our kitchen remodel, he and friend Roger upgraded our bathroom and put on a new front porch. Through all this he and Florence became good friends and they were with us in small groups and generous with hospitality at their home and camp. A giant of a man in skills and character—he is much missed. Mary and Dave Kipp

Jerry was a wonderful friend and a very special man. He was an industrious, talented, craftsman. God blessed him with so many decades of serving Him and God's people in the church and serving others in their homes. He did a number of projects personally, for my wife and I. We have had a beautiful custom built hope chest at the foot of our bed for years, that Jerry built by hand. Jerry had a lot of wisdom and was a true gentleman. Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our condolences to the family, Dan & Sherri Woodward
