Obituary of Joseph R. Opaczewski

 

Webster: Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the age of 64. Joseph is predeceased by his father, Richard. He is survived by his loving wife; Maria, daughter's, April (Ryan) Smith and Heather (Tyler) Petrie; grandchildren, Kennedy, Leo, Mila and Wesson; mother, Rita Opaczewski; sister, Jean Veniskey; brothers, John (Cathy) and James Opaczewski; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Joseph was a very kind and generous person who loved to travel and watch his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves. He was a very hard worker and a proud member of The Eastman Kodak Company for 28 years followed by 12 years of dedication at The Xerox Corporation. But the most precious part of his life was spending time with his grandchildren and family.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2, 2024 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, January 3, 2024 10:00am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for his funeral mass. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
