Dear Uncle Pat, Cheryl & Art, Patricia, Timmy, Tyler & Kimberly & Ali. How do you put so many years of happiness, fun and memories in a paragraph. You can’t. It is impossible to do, especially when someone such as dear as “Auntie Alice” is the person you are talking about.
Our family, “The McMyne’s” spent many Summers when we were younger with the Flanagans on 19 Sagamore Circle in Rochester, NY, and we looked forward to it every single Summer. Basically, because that was our only vacation. There were 6 kids and the station wagon would be packed and it was great!! We would stay for a week because in those days it would take my poor father (Uncle John-now deceased) at least 8 hours to get there! We loved our Auntie Alice and our dear Uncle Pat. They would take us everywhere! Even a trip to Wegmans was like an extra treat. We didn’t have one in Carbondale,PA. at that time.
Also, as we started to get older, I myself, (Mary Ann) spent every Summer up there with my cousin Cheryl watching her practice with her recitals and helping my Auntie Alice with chores around the house. There was only time that I didn’t last & that was the first time & my father and my Uncle Pat had to meet half-way because I was lonesome. Other than that, I was their other daughter!
My mother Marie is the oldest sister, and she is 95. My heart breaks for her because her younger sister just died in May.
Again, from all of us back in Carbondale, PA, our deepest condolences to everyone affected by this devastating loss. All our love and prayers to all of you.
Mary Ann and Marie McMyne,
Carbondale l, PA

I will remember Aunt Alice always. My heart aches for each of you.
Never easy. She is resting in God's arms free of pain and suffering. This place is only a stepping stone to a much better existence. Love you Aunt Alice and give mom and dad and all relatives a big hug and kiss from each of us. Dance wiith the angels. Love Maureen

It is with deep sadness that David and I extend our deepest sympathy to Mr. Flanagan, Cheri, Arthur, Patty, Timothy, Tyler, Kimberly, and Alexandra. I lived across the street from the Flanagan's from the time I was 10, until I married in 1975. I babysat for Cheri and Patty when I was a teen, so remember how beautiful Mrs. Flanagan looked when she and Mr. Flanagan stepped out for the evening. She always looked like she was attending a red carpet event! My parents (Sam and Angela Nasca) and the Flanagan's were neighbors from 1962 until 2006, so there was a long history of neighborly love and support shared among them.
We will be praying for peace and comfort from our Lord, to surround the family during this time of great loss.
