Obituary of Gilbert J. Fuhrman Jr.

Rochester- Gil passed away peacefully at home after a valiant struggle with COPD. He leaves his beloved wife, Bobbi and adoring daughters, Kathy (Andy) Reed and Maribeth (Pat) Curran and treasured granddaughter, Madi Russell and many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Mildred Fuhrman and brother Robert.

Gilbert was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and Le Moyne College. He had a long career in purchasing at R.T. French and Curtice Burns. An avid sailor, he crewed many races with close friends. He was a master wood carver, dog and music lover. 

His family will receive friends Friday, February 23, 2024, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday, February 24, 2024, 11:00 am at St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
