We heard the news this morning
That God had called your name.
In life you were loved dearly;
In death it will be the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us with such memories,Your love will be our guide; And though we cannot see you, You will alway be by our side. Rest in Peace, baby girl. You are safe and secure (now) in the arms of Jesus .... Love you - Yolie ..... cousin Jann??

Yolie, there are so many things that stand out in my mind, but the one that makes me laugh the most is when you used to say "How do you walk in those high heels aunt Cindy?!" and then you would put them on, wobble and fall, and we used to laugh but now you are singing, dancing, laughing, and rejoicing safe in the arms of Jesus! I love you my pretty girl! Love , Aunt Cindy.

Yolanda, although we have never met, your sister Abbirose spoke of you highly. Im sure that her and other members of your family will tell me more on what a great and thoughtful person you where. I am sorry to hear of your passing, but at least now you can look down from heaven and see how much your family loves you, and will care about you forever.

Yolie, You haven't really left us, just gone ahead to pave the way for the rest of our family to someday join together, in Paridise, with our heavenly Father. My daughter tell me that sometimes God calls home the young ones; sooner than the older ones because He needs Angels on Assignment to guide those of us left behind. She tells me you have wings now and I am at peace with that. I will miss you honey - rest in peace and look out for your Mother and the rest of your family; help them to find comfort and healing in the fond memories you have left behind. Love, Aunt Fran

My favorite memory of Yolanda was when she was in the car with Nannie and I. We were stopped by a police officer. The officer asked nannie why Yolanda wasn't in a car seat. Nannie said that she was 6 and didn't need to be in one and that a seatbelt was sufficient. Yolanda in her very Loud, outdoor voice announced as the officer walked away, "Nannie, you know I just turned five last month" We looked at eachother and Nannie took off like a bat out of hell!! We laughed about it and we told Yolanda that sometimes she needed to let nannie do the talking!!

Yolanda...you and I met back when I was in the 7th grade...I was sent out of my class room and there in the "technology hall" you sat. I admired your eyeliner for as long as I could remember and so I asked if you would show me how to apply...You and I talked for the next 20 minutes and you were so funny! From then on you treated me with kindness and respect. I remember the days of riding around with Bill G....You always had a spirit about you that made everyone smile! I met your sister (linda) later through you and since then she and I remain best friends . Thank you for the times we shared and thank u for my best friend. I will forever miss you girl! Your always carried in my heart! I will see you when it is time for me to come home!

Yolanda, it has been a really long time since we have spoke! I am so sorry to hear that you are gone! I find myself thinking about you everyday since I heard the sad news. I see your smile, I hear your laugh, and hear your voice in my head! You will be missed by many!
Linda and family, I am sorry to hear about your loss! Yolanda was a friend of mine and I'm sorry I didn't come to her wake, I was sadly misinformed...I remember coming to your house and sleeping over and going to the mall. Yolanda was a fun person to be around and I loved it at your house! I can not imagine the loss you are all feeling or the emptiness of not having your loved one..she is at peace now, at home with god! R.I.P. Yolanda
