I’ve known Danny since I’ve known Glen…(69 yrs?)...family. His passing is more than a death to me…it’s like the end of an era. Being from “Polish Town”, I remember what the neighborhood was…what it used to be…and Danny Paprocki (in every way) represented the heart and soul of that once, fine, community. People looked up to Danny…not just because of his height, because of his character…because of what he was made of. I made sure a couple years back, while in town, to get Dan, his brothers, and Bill Russell and I to stop in at the P.A.C. (Polish American Citizens Club) for a couple of beers to reminisce. So glad I did. So many great times…not only from the old neighborhood, but from all the years I have known Danny, and the Paprocki family. The quality of our lives is directly related to the quality of the friends we keep, those we love, and those who love us. I’m forever grateful for Danny Paprocki’s love & friendship over the years, and so sad for his children, family, and Kathy. He’ll be sadly missed.

The last time I saw Danny was at the St Stanislaus anniversary party. Hemet was laughing with Bob Bobiarz, Goose Cummings and just enjoying life. Always had a kind word and great smile.

Spent many, many hours laughing, sharing Vietnam memories and just plain having fun at Ginna Nuclear plant during shutdowns, we always found something to do to someone to make our time go by faster and just have fun with everyone on our night crew. The absolute most fun loving, and greatest guy you could ever meet and say "he is my friend". Riding back and forth to work with him was always an exciting and fun time, never knowing where we would end up or what we would do, but it was always a rewarding and fun time. He will be missed by everyone, my thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, Dan will definitely be watching over all of us. Rest in peace brother, it has been a fun ride.

I pray the family finds peace in knowing what a great hearted human being that taught me so much. I could write for hours all the good times and smiles and will never forget any of those precious times spent together.
