Webster: March 22, 2024 at Age 91
She was born in Rochester, New York to the late Frank and Florence Klee. She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence, brother and sister-in-law William and Mary Ann Govereau, and sister-in-law Ann Klee.
She is survived by her devoted children: Robert (Patricia) Contois, Suzanne (Thomas) Dombroski, Kathleen (Joseph) Papalia; grandchildren: Marc (Shauna) Contois, Kristen Dombroski (Ryan), Dr. Jenna (Gregory) Lefancheck, Alicia Papalia, and Nicholas Papalia (Amanda); great grandchild: Brody Lawrence Contois; brother: John Klee; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she loved with all of her heart.
Rosemary graduated from Academy of the Sacred Heart High School, and from RIT with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1954. While at RIT, she met Lawrence, and they married on August 27, 1955. She worked at an accounting tax office. She was a devoted Catholic, attending weekly mass, practicing and performing in the musical chimes group in the Cherry Ridge Chapel. She loved playing cards, puzzles, making rosaries, knitting, crocheting, and creating a variety of arts and craft projects. Rosemary was a kind, caring, and generous woman. She established great family traditions including holiday celebrations, dock day gatherings, entertaining at the cottage and Florida home, traveling around the world, and annual cruises with cherished family memories. She loved being with her family.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, March 25th at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, at 570 Kings Highway South, from 4 to 7pm. Friends are invited to meet the family on Tuesday, March 26th at St. Mary's, at 4 Avon Geneseo Rd, Geneseo, at 10am for her funeral mass. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery, at 4807 Crossett Road, Geneseo.
