Nicki was an amazing lady and an amazing stepmom! My life was richer because she was part of it. She was one of the people I was so excited to introduce my future wife (Michelle, seen here between Nicki and I) to that I guess I forgot how to smile :)

Der Kris and family. I am bereft at the sudden loss of dearest Nicki. I will be in Rochester, and as is her special gift, we were to have special time together. We will not be there til after the Memorial Service. Such a big loss, and of course she is missed by so many. To be friends since high school is such a wonderful gift. And memories of our visits to Seattle, and she you all came to my house. Fun is her answer to life. Generosity is her natural inheritance for all of us.

Hey Nicki! Remind Jesus of our names - Clark and Jean Russell. We are so blessed you were in our lives, and we will miss you and remember you fondly. On behalf of the class of GC63 Nicki did more than anyone to bring us together every five years. She was instrumental in our reunion committees - every one of them since the first one long ago. The reunions were full of more good times and memories than anyone can imagine. These good times and memories form the basis of our class unity to this day. No class enjoys the close community we do today, and so much of it is due to Nicki's love for everyone.

So very sad to lose such a special friend. Forever one of the “Gloucester Gals”, I will cherish memories of our many treks to Good Harbor beach for a week of sitting on the beach reading, shopping and of course our favorite restaurants. My heart is so sad and I’m bewildered at how fast you left us. I have treasured our friendship for years although so far apart. One of the brightest spots I looked forward to every 5 years when I returned for one of our reunions was seeing you again. As we sent emails back and forth and shared a common belief of God and Country I will miss you even more. May Gods face shine upon you!
