Obituary of Ida C. Saucke

Irondequoit: Beloved Wife & Mother Monday, May 20, 2024 at the age of 98. Pre-deceased by her husband, Oliver H. Saucke, son , Gary B. Saucke; son-in-law, Thomas F. O’Connor. Ida is survived by son, Gregory (Debbie) Saucke; daughter, Barbara Saucke O’Connor; grandchildren, Megan Saucke (Mark Bridges) and Jeffrey Saucke (Emilie Doyle). dachshund Roxie O'Connor and special friend, Tina Mastrella along with many nieces and nephews.

Born Ida Christina Saucke, she was known for her caring and giving nature. She was a wonderful cook and loved to read almost right up to the end. Her faith in God and love of family and friends kept her strong. She was a "Mom" to all Barb's friends who had lost their Mom's and a friend to all who knew her.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, May 26, 1-3pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 26, 3:00 pm. Interment Private. Contributions in her honor may be made to the Irondequoit United Church of Christ, 644 Titus Ave, Rochester, NY 14617 or Lollypop Farms
