Obituary of Judith A. Laisney

Judith Ann (Lemp) Laisney passed away, June 01, 2024 at the age of 81 in her home after an extended illness with her family by her side.
Always energetic and extremely hard working she enjoyed her job not retiring until after her 79th birthday.
Judy was predeceased by her former husband, Roy (Jerry) Laisney; her daughter, Shelly Lynn Laisney; father, John Lemp; mother, Doris Cona (Robert) and her brother, David Cona (Debbie).
Survived by her son, Scott Laisney (Karen) of Strasburg Va; grandchildren, Kyle, Alex and Morgan and Shelly’s daughter Christine; her sisters, Linda Dill (Michael) of New Smyrna Beach Fl, Susan Sizemore (Daryl) of Whitesboro Tx.
Judy was born July 18, 1942 in Rochester, NY, graduated from Hilton Central High School in 1961. She retired from EMCOR SERVICES BETLEM in 2022.
After the death of her daughter Shelly, Judy dedicated her life to raising her granddaughter Christine.
She was an avid gardener and a true animal lover whose home always had well loved pets. Her current dog Sassy and cat Lacy will continue to be loved and well cared for.
In her free time she always enjoyed getting together with friends and shopping always on the hunt for that special treasure.
She belonged to the Red Hat Society which encourages women to get the most out of life.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, June 6, 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Services and Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or to your local animal shelter.
