Obituary of Edward H. Maeske

Irondequoit- Friday, June 7, 2024 at the age of 95. He is predeceased by his parents Oliver and Ruth Maeske. Edward is survived by his loving wife Marjorie of 39 years; son, Terry E. (Linda) Maeske; daughter, Lori Malolepszy (Maeske); his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edward enjoyed his visits to Canada where he spent time with Marjorie’s brothers and their wives and families.

Being proud of his country Edward joined the United States Marine Corp when he left high school. He did his full term and then enlisted again. Edward was also a volunteer fireman for the West Webster Fire Department as he followed in his grandfathers foot steps as his grandfather was a Point Pleasant Fireman.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 5:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday, June 12, 10:00 am at St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of ones choice.
