I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. D’Amico. We lived in the same neighborhood when I was a child. One day when I was five years old, a dog jumped me and had me pinned on the ground. Mr. D’Amico was driving by and he immediately stopped his car and got the dog off of me. He then took me home to my mother. Mr. D’Amico was a huge hero in my life. I have never forgotten that day and was just talking about it recently. I am forever grateful to the wonderful man who took the time to care for a five year old little girl. My sincere condolences for your loss. I am praying that you all find comfort and that Mr. D’Amico, my hero, rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. I worked for him for a short time right after high school. He was a very kind man and considerate boss.

He was a fine man who will be remembered by all who knew him. I have fond memories of little league baseball and he was one of my coaches back in the 1970's.

The proof of a successful life, I believe, is the legacy of love and achievement you leave behind. In that sense, Mr. Edward D'Amico was "the man in the arena," as Theodore Roosevelt defined the term. He succeeded in all things, leaving his mark on the legal profession, on his community, and where it counted most--on his family. A proud and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he was most joyful at the prospect of being with the patriarch of a close-knit family. He found great satisfaction and fulfillment in teaching his sons to be good athletes and good young men. He was my first Little League baseball team's manager, which set him up as an important authority figure for me as a 10-year-old kid. He loved to teach the finer points of the game to me and other kids like me, as well as his own boys. But more than that, he wanted us all to become responsible, productive citizens, respectful of authority, kind to others, and committed to excellence. He was always a good example for us to emulate. I value all the days we spent with him in our youth.
May God bless Mr. D'Amico and seat him at His right hand. Rest in peace.
