Q: How did you meet Peter?
A: My dad, Gary, was a part of that Kodak Rat Pack project in San Diego/Tijuana, late 80’s. My sister and I came out to visit you all in beautiful SoCal.
I do have to say, between that rag tag team of misfits you had to manage, while navigating the constant shenanigans (that as an adult, I’ve heard… most of the stories) all while ensuring no one ended up in a Mexican prison, hats off to you Pete!
I have no idea how any of you completed actual work, but you did, and that was a testament to your leadership… and tolerance… and patience.
So. Much. Patience.
But really, I have such great & vivid memories of that trip, down to the littlest of moments; I remember you buying Kelly and I Ice Cream while showing us around Hotel Del Coronado with Dad.
Thank you for being a part of my formative years, even if it was just a few weeks so many years ago, it meant so much, and it made an impact.
Lastly, for being such a wonderful mentor, friend, and partner in crime to my dad.
Rest in Peace Pete, you will be missed, Ramon and Tim will be meeting you with a cold beer in hand.
