Katia Prozik

Ontario: Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the age of 98. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 72 years, Peter. She is survived by her children, Peter (Diane) Prozik, Bohdan (Josephine) Prozik; grandchildren, Peter (Tricia) Jr., Andrew (Christine) Prozik; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Savannah, Natalia, Sasha and Micah Prozik.

Katia was a member of the St. Mary's Ukrainian Church Choir for 50 years, which brought her great joy and many treasured friendships. Her kitchen table welcomed everyone day or night, and within minutes, banquets appeared as if by magic. She was loved by all who knew her, because she poured out loved to all, this was her special gift.

Our sincere thanks go out to loving persons who were part of her care team at St. Ann's Nursing Home at Cherry Ridge. Their love for Katia remains in our hearts forever.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, August 15, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Panachyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Friday, August 16, 10:00 am at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Webster Union Cemetery.
