Obituary of Judeth Ann Laurange

Judeth Ann (Appleman) Laurange, long time resident of Liverpool, NY passed away peacefully at her home in Rochester, NY with her family by her side on August 26th, 2024 at the age of 80.

 

Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Eleanor Appleman; brother, Richard “ Dickie” Appleman. Judeth is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years and caregiver, George Laurange; daughters, MaryAnn (Ed) Carney, Beth (Don) Stoddard and Danielle (Lindsay) Laurange. She was a loving Nana to 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 more due later this year; brothers, Doug (Sandy) Appleman, David Appleman, and Ronald (Cathy) Appleman as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Jude “Blue Eyes” was an incredibly beloved wife, mother, nana, aunt and sister. She was an advocate for senior citizens, and created a volunteer transportation program in Baldwinsville, NY for Canton Woods Senior Center where she was an Outreach Coordinator. Through her work, she not only assisted seniors within her community with their needs, she started a Parkinson’s support group to connect with others with the disease.

 

Jude was a avid reader and enjoyed spending her time shopping and being with family. She worked with local government agencies, county executives, town personnel and board members to be sure that the clients she worked with had all the services they needed and were treated fairly.

 

Jude was a fighter to the end, and an incredibly strong, resilient woman. She will be remembered for her intelligence, compassion, genuineness, and unconditional love. She leaves a legacy that will not be forgotten, and a void that cannot be replaced.

 

Her family will receive friends Thursday, August 29, 2-5pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her memorial service will take place at 4:30 pm . Interment Private.
