Obituary of Audrey M. Miller

Audrey Miller peacefully departed from this life and entered into her eternal rest on Friday, September 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband, daughter and friends at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.

Audrey loved her children and the grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as "Grammy." She also loved her many friends from church and antiquing and especially cherished her time spent with her close lady friends nicknamed "The 7 Sisters." She was particularly fond of her home for almost 50 years on Sagamore Drive and regularly hosted and entertained her friends and family there. She loved to travel with her husband and friends and she especially loved vacationing at Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks. She will also be remembered for her particular fondness for cats, especially her calico cat Callie.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 64 years Melville Miller, Greece, NY; daughter Cindy (Dan)Werthman, Greece, NY; son Ron (Sue) Miller, Bluffton, SC; grandchildren Evan (Hannah) Werthman, Jacksonville, FL; Jack Miller, Jacksonville, FL; Alec (Tori) Werthman, Somerset, KY; Grant Werthman, Juneau, AK; Joe Miller, Bluffton, SC; great-grandchildren Nolan Werthman and Dahlia Werthman, sister Joan (Tom) Manos, Olanta, PA, brother Joe Lightkep, sister-in-law Pat (Stan) Lutes, Sarasota, FL, brother-in-law Kenny Steinmetz, and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arch & Betty Lightkep, her brother Bobby Lightkep, and her sisters Nancy Moyer and Judy Steinmetz.

A funeral service will be held for Audrey and officiated by Pastor Dave Boehm at Northridge Church, 2052 St. Paul Street, in Irondequoit on Friday, September 13th, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
