Andrius Algimantas Naujokas

Age 91, of Webster, NY, passed away on September 28th, 2024. Andrius was born on March 14th, 1933, in Kaunas, Lithuania. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Joanne, and their children: Algis (LaDene), Audra Knapp, Aras (Jennifer), Denis (Jamee), along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Andy served in the US Army during the Korean War as a Military Police officer in Germany. After returning from the war, he pursued an education at the University of Rochester, earning a master's degree in chemical engineering. He had a distinguished career at Eastman Kodak, authoring 14 patents. Andy retired in 1998 and soon after purchased a circa 1856 estate, dedicating his time to restoring it and indulging in his passion for gardening.

Andy was an active volunteer in his community, contributing his time to the Webster Community Chest, the Webster Grange, the Webster Museum, and the Lithuanian St. George's Church. He led a donation and clothing drive for orphans in Lithuania during the country's fight for freedom in 1991. Proud of his Lithuanian heritage, Andy instilled this pride in his family, who were involved in Lithuanian Folk Dance groups.

A viewing at 10 am and funeral service at 11:00 am will be held on Thursday October 3rd, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 150 Varinna Drive, Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Webster Museum.
