Obituary of Frank H. Scholz
Frank H. Scholz passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 67, following a long illness. Born to the late Frank and Catherine Scholz on October 22, 1956, Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Frank is survived by his wife, Kim; his daughters, Lauren and Kara (Joe); and his grandchildren, Maddox, Remi, and Harper. He also leaves behind his siblings, Ellen (Jack), Betsy (Steve), Paul (Ann), and Mary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends, especially those at Jeremiah’s.
Frank’s life was filled with passions that defined him. He was a talented musician who loved playing guitar and drums, and he brought joy to those around him with his sense of humor. An excellent cook, Frank enjoyed preparing meals for his family and friends, often sharing his creations with the people he cared about. He took special pride in making naturally fermented pickles, which he loved to share with others. He also had a special fondness for vintage cars and, of course, his Philadelphia Eagles.
A proud Navy Veteran, Frank served his country as a System Organizational Maintenance Technician, working on jets. He continued to build a successful career, working for companies like Pfizer and Kodak, and ultimately retiring from L3 Harris Technologies. He was a brilliant engineer.
Frank's services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Those who loved him will honor his memory by raising a glass to celebrate his life, remembering the laughter, the music, and the unforgettable spirit of a man who will be deeply missed.
