Obituary of Sue J. Morrell

Sue Morrell, age 95, Rochester NY

Sue passed peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024, at age 95, due to Vascular Dementia. She was lovingly cared for by her family and the many special aides at St. John's Home. Sue was predeceased by her parents, Carmelo and Michalena Sofia as well as her five brothers and sisters.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Leonard Morrell Sr., her three children Karen, Leonard Jr. (Sandy), Paul Morrell and her grandchildren Sarah Fischer (Mike) and Nina Morrell. She also had one great grandchild Noah as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sue's family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Her funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church (445 Kings Highway So.). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Mom's honor to The Alzheimer's Association, a very worthwhile choice. https://act.alz.org.
