Obituary of Daniel S. Sorokti

Rochester, NY:  Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the age of 57 after a lifelong battle with Crohn’s Disease.  Pre-deceased by son, Luke Sorokti, and parents John and Mary Sorokti.  He is survived by his son, Daniel J. Sorokti, brother, John Sorokti and sister, Kristen (Dave) Grimm; niece Emily Sorokti, and nephew Andrew Grimm as well as great nieces Lillian, and Maddie and great nephew JD; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins and dear friends.  Danny is also survived by ex-wife and dear friend, Donna J. Sorokti. 

Danny was an avid golfer and sports fan especially of his beloved Buffalo Bills. He excelled at basketball and baseball during his school years and beyond. Danny was also a local musician, songwriter and lead vocalist with several bands over the years to include his most recent Warhead Rising. He will mostly be remembered for his loyalty, kindness and terrific sense of humor. 

At Danny’s request, a gathering will be held to “have a drink” in Danny’s name. Date/time TBD.
