I pray you feel God's love all around you through family, friends, and wonderful memories.
My favorite memory of Mike was how he loved on Connie, his grandmother. He was almost just as tall as her at a young age and easily envelopes her in a hug. I can still see Connie's smile in return.
I remember when Mike learned to make scrambled eggs with cheese. It became his specialty and he enjoyed making it for me and Connie.

I met Michael in 2004-2005, the year I was an exchange student with the Khederian family. His little sister Julia became my friend. And I secretly had a crush on Michael. Never told him that!! But made sure to be at their house plenty. I remember we went sledding in the front yard during the winter, we had the best time! Michael, you will be missed. You were always so friendly, open and funny.
Dear Mr. And Mrs. Arilotta, dear Julia, dear Joe, I can’t imagine what you are going through right now. I’m sending you all the strength and love. May the memories be of comfort.

Mike, or Lotta Love as we called him, was someone who only recently entered my life, but from the moment I met him his exuberant, playful spirit and generosity made an immediate and lasting impression on my soul. While anyone who knew him would have hoped for many more days shared with him and his smiling laughter, i am grateful to have had the chance at all. I wish healing to the family through this time of loss, and wish you the grace of knowing how beautifully Lotta lived.

i am so deeply sorry for the loss the arilotta family is going through. i was grateful and lucky enough to love michael for as long as i did. his happy energy/big smile was contagious, he never failed to make me laugh, his big ambitions motivated me, and just being around him was such a pleasure. exploring colorado with him, trying new food places, traveling, watching our favorite shows, or even dabbling in some card games are some of my favorite memories with him. michael had a wealth of knowledge to share and taught me so much about myself, relationships, and just supported me through whatever issue arose. michael was such a selfless person and was ALWAYS there to help. this loss hits hard and michael will absolutely always be remembered.
