Obituary of Jeffrey P. Kettlehone

Jeff passed peacefully on Saturday, December 21st after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 77. Predeceased by his parents, Erwin and Alice Kettlehone. 

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jacqueline Kettlehone, daughter Carrieanne (Scott) Hurlburt, son Brian (Cynthia) Kettlehone, grandchildren Caroline, Julia, Alexandra, Maiya, Mackenzie and Cole, Brothers Doug (Sharon) Kettlehone and Guy (Sylvia) Kettlehone, sister-in-law Bonnie Hyde and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jeff had a lifelong passion for flying, having received his pilots license and instructor rating all before the age of 19. He was an accomplished woodworker, avid fly fisherman and sailor. Yet his favorite times were spent with his family who he loved dearly. He had a contagious sense of humor that will be missed by all especially by his six grandchildren who adored him.

His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4th from 11:00-1:00. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Golisano’s Children's Hospital.
