Obituary of Arlene B. Maida

Irondequoit- Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 102. Arlene is  predeceased by her husband Emanuel; son, Robert; sisters, Helen, Dolores, Betty, Lois and Rosemary; brothers, Robert, Harold and Leonard. Arlene is survived by her sons, Davyd (Betty) , Ronald (Elizabeth) , Steve and Daniel (Alba) Maida; grandchildren, Deborah (Michael) Taddonio, Robert (Alecia) Maida, Lori (Jeffery) Hall, Michael (Stephanie) Maida, Elissa (Robert) VanBell, Adam (Almudena) Maida, Amanda Clifford, Melissa (Adi) Clifford; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 great- great- grandchildren along with many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Arlene was not only an amazing woman , but she was also a very loving, caring , giving mother and grand mother that would always put the needs and wants of her family before her own. Because of her beautiful personality and spitfire sense of humor,  she would always leave a lasting impression on those who met her. She loved to dance, play bingo, spend time with her loved ones and loved her cats, Kala 1, 2 and 3. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. We are all so very grateful and honored to be able to have so many fond memories to cherish after living such a long, strong life .

Her family will receive friends Monday, December 30, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 11:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Arlene can be made to the ALS Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
