Joyce, and just like that, you were gone. My family is going to miss you so much. It was always so much fun to be around you, and you had so much positive energy. We will miss your conversations, cards, and positive thoughts. Tony and I were grateful that we were able to have you over at our house a few weeks prior for dinner with our mom, and spend time with you. I have to believe that you are joyously reunited with Ray, and your parents, and some of your good friends. Rest in peace, Joyce/

Joyce was a lifelong friend to my parents, Sam and Jean Giordano. It started with Kodak outings and blossomed into a close-knit group of friends who got together often. Even after Ray died and my parents' memories were fading, the friendship remained. I remember that Joyce had a contagious laugh and was such a kind and caring person. I treasure the Christmas card we received this past Christmas. Sending prayers to her family and friends.
God bless, Linda (Giordano) Houley.

Joyce was in our Weight Watchers group. I've known her for a few years, and she will be sorely missed. She was a bright spot in the group.

Joyce will be so missed. We met as freshmen at RIT and have remained friends all these years. She had never changed - always had the Best, infectious laugh. She will be so missed , but we will always have the memories of fun times with her.

I met Joyce at a Craft Show at Casa Larga that was held on the "Black Friday" weekend many years ago. I had a table of my stuff in the small room, and as she was making her rounds stopped and looked at everything - especially the handbags and pillows that I make using an embroidery machine. She asked if I take custom orders and when I said yes, her face lit up with her wonderful smile. She took my card, and that started a long, wonderful relationship. When she would come to my shop, which changed three times since our first meeting, she would sit with me while we looked at designs, picked out colors of thread and made decisions. She did so much for me -- I told her that I am much better at my craft due to her special orders, always pushing and teaching me what was possible. We laughed together, shared family stories -- she always remembered things I said and often reminded me. She had a sharp mind, a loving and giving heart, and I miss her. I will never forget how colorful she always was, and that wonderful smile. Rest in peace.
