Obituary of Marlene L. Lylak

Lylak, Marlene L. Irondequoit: Saturday, January 11, 2025 at age 87. Marlene was born March 6, 1937 to Frances and Walter Wallock. Predeceased by her husband, John, Sr; daughter, Susan; son, John, Jr. and brother, Leonard. Marlene is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Karl (Lynn) Wallock and many other nieces and nephews. She was retired from East High School where she was the secretary for the principal. She was very active in St. Stanislaus Church and St. Cecilia Church. Marlene enjoyed summers at the cottage at Blind Sodus Bay boating and many memories of parties with her family and friends and she loved her neighbors on Sandoris Circle. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, January 21, 6:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Alzheimers Assoc., 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
