Obituary of Virginia A. Johnson

Irondequoit-  27th day, January, 2025 at the age of 86. Ginny is predeceased by her Husband Alexander C. Johnson, her brother Rev.  William J. Gordinier and her sister Catherine Gordinier Wasenke. She is survived by her; sons, Alexander (Laurie) Johnson, William (Joanne) Johnson, Christopher (Vicky) Johnson, Dan (Heather) Johnson, Peter (Tania) Johnson; grandchildren, Alexander (Gabriella), Hannah (Henry), Kathleen (Nicholas), Nicholas (Tabitha), Elizabeth (Derek), Allison (Nathan), Stephanie (Jacob), Samantha (Patrick), Ryan, Aaron, Leigha (Matthew) Marusch, Sherazade, Sindbad, Zelda and Xamanek; great-grandchildren, Ferris, Miles, Levi, Parker and Liam; Loving Aunt to Betty (Donnie) Licht and Mark (Teresa) Johnson. 

Virginia was a proud graduate of  Holy Rosary School and Nazareth Academy. She was a volunteer for many charitable organizations and at her sons schools where they worked. While raising her five boys she also worked at Allstate Insurance, was a census taker, salesclerk at Sibleys Dept Store in Irondequoit and as a realtor with her husband.

 Her family will receive friends Thursday January 30, 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday, January 31, 10:00 a.m. at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Fund For BK (Bishop Kearney H.S).
