Your parents were our neighbors when we bought our first house on forest
hills. They were so welcoming and thoughtful, always bringing a small gift for the kids at christmas. We remember them fondly and were so sorry to hear about Cecelia. We will always remember their kindness.

Maria Celeste Mary Jo Vic and Tony. I am sorry I did not pay attention to Sundays paper hence I missed the notice so I missed the calling Monday. I will try to attend Tuesday but may not be able.Needless to say "ceila" and all your family have been and always will be dear to my heart. A sweeter woman has never walked the earth than your mom.I am confident she is thrilled to be reunited with her lover, your dad. Hope your holidays are filled with joyful memories! Love your friend Kip

SALLY PRITCHARD posted a condolence
Dear Ones - so sorry to hear the news about "Cela", as the Pritchards always call her. Many fond memories!! Just a few days ago I was thinking about the recipe for Xmas Wreath Kuchens that she gave me when I didn't have enough money to buy Xmas presents for family and she suggested that "homemade gifts" were the best. Also, the many tons of egg salad we whipped up together on a regular basis. And the blessed 5:00 PM when we could turn on the TV to Spin and Marty and get a little respite for ourselves as you were glued to the TV set. What a wonderful person she was. Please stay in touch - think of you all often, and especially at this time. Wish I could be there to reminisce with you all. Much love and prayers. Sally - Red wants me to include his condolences, also.

All of you girls are super daughters. You went far and beyond what you needed to do because you all had so much love for your Mom. I am sincerely sorry for you all. My heart goes out for all of you and I know how much this hurts. I am sorry that I could not get there, but I want you to know how perfect and wonderful you are. Hope to see you when things are calm for you. I wish you all love. I would say that she is in a better place, but there is no better place than what you surrounded her with.

Dear Cousins, I have warm thoughts of Aunt Ceclia in the kitchen on Titus Avenue, the round dining table in the bay room, grandma's room up the ramp, Unlce Al's bone-crushing hand shakes, Aunt Cecilia in an apron orchestrating all of us. I alsways felt loved in the house with the exception of those crazy German Shephards.
Love, Chris

Dear Ciaccia Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother.I remember her as soft spoken, kind and gentle, but with a stern look if needed (only Victor and Kip needed it, and I approved). Also, she always seemed so tall to me as a kid. My mother reminded me of a story of riding in the back seat of the car with Anthony, and I had to go to the bathroom. Anthony and I were standing and jumping on the seats (no car seats, no seat belts) and Anthony said, "Jump Jim, Jump."
It seems that all of you have inherited the gentleness and good character of your parents. May your holidays be blessed by the good memories of Cecilia's life.
Love, Jim Pritchard

Patty posted a condolence
Dear Maria, Celeste, Victor, Mary Jo and Tony,
For so many of "the cousins", some of our best childhood memories come from the warm and wonderful Christmas parties held at your house all those years. Aunt Cecilia was always the perfect hostess on these and many other occasions. She was a pillar of our extended family and she will be missed.
Our thoughts are with you.
Love,
Patty

My aunt Cecelia was a wonderful, graceful and wise woman. I have many memories of growing up in her - and Uncle Al's - and will always remember their wit, their loving, gentle and clear ways and thoughts. As a father of young children, I often think about how to raise my children and set an example. Although I have not been a part of her immediate life for some time now, I did indeed hearken back from time to time the times we spent together. Aunt Cecelia and Uncle Al were role models for me, as I want to be a role model for others. I am very grateful to have had them in life and that God allowed her to touch so many more lives as well.
