Obituary of Elizabeth W. Perucki

Perucki, Elizabeth C. "Betty" "Elsie" Nee: Wichner Penfield. Born September 5, 1922 and entered into rest, January 11, 2009. Pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years Fred Perucki and her parents John and Agnes Wichner. Betty is survived by her sons, George(Kerri) Perucki, Peter Perucki, Alan(Lynn) Perucki of Columbus, OH, and Richard(Joyce) Perucki of Springwater, NY, 7 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and good friends. Betty devoted her life to many charitable causes. She was a Charter Member and President for the 1962-63 season of the Women's Club of Rochester. She started the "New to You Shop" with all proceeds going to Rochester charities, which is still used today by many organizations. Betty was also active in the East Penfield Baptist Church and the American Cancer Society, Rochester Chapter where she was the original organizer of their annual Charity Ball which still continues today. Her family will receive friends Tuesday 4-7 pm at the funeral home, where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 10:00am. Interment will be Private at the Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yann, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14609 in memory of Betty Perucki.
