Irondequoit: Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the age of 89. Pre-deceased by his sister Lillian Solomon. Mr. Sheld is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Elizabeth U. Sheld, children, Stephen(Nancy) Sheld, Kathy(Andrew Burdick) Rose and Leah(Geoffrey)Tesch, grandchildren, Kelly Fuller and Francesca Sheld. Mr. Sheld retired from Bausch and Lomb as a chemist.
His family will receive friends Monday 10:00am-11:30am at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will follow at 11:30am. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
