Obituary of Bohdan Chomiak

Chomiak, Bohdan Rochester: Entered into rest Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the age of 88. Mr. Chomiak is survived by his wife of 54 years Lidia, sons, Andre Chomiak and Myron (Janet) Chomiak, grandchildren, Michael & Kristina Chomiak, 2 sisters and families in Truskavetz, Western Ukraine. Bohdan was one of the organizers of PLAST Ukrainian Youth Organizations of Scouting, and long time secretary of Providence Association,branch # 225 at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. (Panachyda 7:00pm). Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany, 220 Carter Street, Rochester, NY 14621 or The Truskavets Church Restoration Fund, of his beloved birthplace in Ukraine.
