To my other brother, Steve. You are with our angel girl, Rosie where you will share peace and love for all time. She has you in her arms just like that beautiful wedding picture of you two cheek to cheek in bliss. You are both made perfect now and with God. I will remember so many things and times: family fun gatherings, you sailing onto Sunset Beach, Kitty Hawk reunions, pasta, pasta, pasta! I will always cherish our talk and walk down to the lake at the end of Anchor Way. We said it all, cried & laughed. I will never forget our final hug in Tampa at Stephen's just a few short months ago. You will forever be in my memory standing on some deck or roof sporting your smile and tool belt for sure. PEACE and LOVE to all, Dorothy

Dear Steve Maggio Fsmily,
Steve and I go back a long way to when he rented my house at Anchor Terrace when Stephen, Jr. was just a young boy. Over the years, he became a good friend to me and my family. He was always our 'go-to' contractor as he could do anything and do it well. He took care of my family's properties and we knew we had the BEST job! He was always so friendly, courteous and always a gentleman!
We enjoyed sharing sailing stories and a beer at Ollie's.
Steve, God bless you with fair winds and following seas always. WE WILL MISS YOU!
Love, Jackie and Dave Teather

To Steve's precious children, Stephen, Jack and Olivia. It is my deepest sorrow that your Dad is not with you now. Remember throughout your lives that he was a wonderful man, strong and brave. His spirit will remain with each of you forever. He will be as an angel who watches over each of you and a force of love that always protects you. He loved each of you and was extremely proud of each of you. My prayers are with each member of the Maggio family. Susan, I will keep you in my thoughts with Jack and Olivia, always keeping Steve alive for them. You are a special lady. To Barb, my gratitude to you for being with Steve in his final days. To Stephen, my unique little nephew (see, you are already so much like your Dad). I wish only peace for you and healing, I will always be here for you. There are no words of comfort at a time like this, but Lord knows I tried! Yes, Aunt Cetta is Ms. Blabby. Forget the cold beer, we'll have shots and martinis when I see you once again. Love always to each of you. Lucetta

Maggio Family: I was lucky enough to have known Steve for only a brief time, but one thing that impressed me most was the love and pride he had for his family, especially his children. After meeting you all, it is easy to see why. It was an honor to have known, worked, and laughed with Maggsh over the past few years and I will miss him tremendously. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to my friend who always asked how I was doing with genuine care and concern. I will always remember him with the utmost respect and with his own words hw will always be "My Brother from another Mother..."

Stephen was so very, very dear to me.We never greeted one anothe without a kiss and a hug. We never left one another with expressing "I love you." Stephen always made me feel special and understood my ways and my needs. He always thanked me for taking care of and loving his Dad. When the chips were down Stephen was always there in a moments notice. Every birthday, holiday or what ever day the phone would ring and there was Stephen wishing me a Happy Day. How I will miss all of the love and attention we gave to one another. He always made sure that the children gave us the utmost attention and respect. Stephen was a wonderful Dad in every way just as he was a wonderful Son and Friend to all.
Stephen you were a man's man who won over the guys and new how to be a soft and loving person with the woman in your life as well. What a gift that is.
Stephen you are now with God and at peace. The peace is knowing that your three wonderful children will always be surrounded by family. The twins will have the love and care from their wondeful mom Susan and their precious friend Barb.
See what you did...how blessed we are.

Uncle Steve,
You have left such a wonderful legacy with your three beautiful children. What an amazing man and father you were. You will be tremendously missed, but know that your hardworking, loyal, and kindhearted nature are traits that have been passed down to your children and you will forever live within them. I love you.

To Stephen, Jack and Olivia, Having shared my thoughts and memories with your Dad, I want to light a candle for you and the days to come. I hope in time that it will hurt less and that you can find some comfort and smiles through your memories of times shared with your Dad. May you draw from the many lessons that you have learned from him through his words and actions. He was a VERY proud Dad. I know this because when he talked about you, he smiled and beamed BIG! So many people love and embrace you three. The many tributes and messages say much about the man your Dad was and his character....To the Maggio Family and those who loved and held Steve so dear, I wish you comfort and peace. May each of you be touched by God's healing hands.
