I met Ann in 1986 when she joined Xerox. We worked together in the Rochester Service District and then again in HQ Supply & Service Billing. We've been friends for 25 years. Ann is one of the strongest and bravest women I have ever met. My prayers go out to Mr. & Mrs. Zlotkus, her entire family and Brandon and Taylor. May your soul rest in peace Ann ... you deserve it. Love, Karen

Marie posted a condolence
My dearest friend Ann,
I found this message that says exactly what I want to say:
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you slip away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
I always admired your strength and optimism. You are the strongest woman I know. You will always hold a special place in my heart and I will cherish the times we had together. Rest peacefully my friend.
Love you, Marie

To Ann's family, we are truly saddened with Ann's passing. Thank you for making her pictures available. As I looked at her pictures, especially those in her childhood, who would imagine the challenges she would face. She had more than her fair share and she faced them head on...not many could have done that. I rarely saw her without a smile or encouraging word. A truly brave and couragous woman. We will keep all of you in our prayers. The Quinn family

From the moment I met Ann, 20 years ago, I knew I wanted to be her friend. Ann was kind, caring, strong and courageous woman who taught me many life lessons. I so enjoyed her zest for life, her strength, and her passion while speaking of Brandon and Taylor. Ann always gave 150% of everything she had. She will live inside my heart forever, and I dream and believe we will one day laugh again when we meet in our next journey . . . with peace and love, your friend for life, Amy

Brandon and Taylor, I must first say that I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, your friend, your confidant . . . please remember your mother was so proud of both of you, she always had such kind words to say when she spoke of 'Brandon' and 'Taylor', from your grades, sports, cheerleading to your accomplishments. Courage is one word that describes how you have lived your lives. You will one day see your mother again, until then reflect on the wonderful memories you have and the lessons your mother taught you. You are her 'rays of light' . . . may you have peace within your heart . . . I love you both and admire your compassion and strength . . .

To the entire Zlotkus family, I am so sorry for the heavy heart you are holding today. I admire your family strength, thru thick and thru thin . . . you were all there with Ann, anytime of day, or night, from the beginning to the very end. Ann had a tough life journey and was an inspiration in so many ways. Ann was a survivor, who endured everything that was handed to her. She rose to the top and that's something that I will never forget. My thoughts are with you today and always . . . God's peace, Amy
