During the Summers of 1953,'54 and '55, my summer job involved proofreading Kodakery with Julia...her great sense of humor,and sparkling eyes and smile made the time fly by, and we took "time-outs" to discuss the books we were reading... Such a lovely lady.......

It is difficult to realize that my special & dear friend of many years is truly gone. I will miss so many things about her-- her keen mind, her loving and generous spirit, hearing about her fond memories of days gone by, as well as our lively discussions about current events and topics, and her compassion and great love for our animal companions. What better tribute can I offer than to say that I am a better person for having known Julia. I will end this the way we always ended our conversations-- I love you Julia!
