Obituary of Marion S. Marks

Marks, Marion S. Irondequoit. Friday, January 23, 2009 at the age of 88. Pre-deceased by her husband of 53 years, Edward J. Marks, her sister, Dorothy Seidewand and her brother Edward Seidewand. Mrs. Marks is survived by daughters, Karen (James) Dean of New Martinsville, W. VA. and Suzanne(Charles) Healy, sisters, Sr. Eleanor Seidewand, SSJ. and Jean Kronson, 9 grandchildren, James(Dee), Christopher(Sara), Jennifer, & Michael Dean; Charles(Beth) Healey, Kristin(Kevin) Davis, Megan(Chris) Tornow, Kaitlin & Bridget Healey, 8 great grandchildren, sister-in law, Viola(Walter) Kessler, many nieces and nephews. Marion was Eucharistic Minister at St. Cecelia's Church for over 30 years and an Avon Representative for over 50 years. Her family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 1:30pm at St. Cecilia's Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sisters of St. Joseph's Mother House, 150 French, Rochester, NY 14618.
