Obituary of Wasyl Diaczenko

Diaczenko, Wasyl Irondequoit: Friday, May 6, 2011 at the age of 90. Wasyl is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Anna; son, Roman R. (Stephanie); daughters, Geri Lessig, Clara(Ken) Laster; grandchildren, Roman W & Alexander Diaczenko, Matthew, Michael & Jason Szostak; Rachel & David Laster; 8 great grandchildren; sister and many other relatives in Ukraine. Wasyl was a hard worker and an employee at Xerox for over 25 years. He loved sports, the outdoors and helping others with all types of repairs. He always looked forward to the Ukrainian Festival and spending time with his family. His family will receive friends MONDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 6:30PM. Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 10:30 AM at ST. JOSAPHATS UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
