Gorski, John E. Irondequoit: Peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the age of 89. He was pre-deceased by Juliana Marcil, his wife of 50 years. He was also pre-deceased by his 2nd wife Mary Alice Leutong. Mr. Gorski is survived by his children; Stephen (Virginia) Gorski, Daniel (Nancy) Gorski , Jane (Bernard) Lynch, Richard (Deborah Lewis) Gorski, and Christian (Jennifer) Gorski; 10 Grandchildren; Adam (Tiffany) Gorski, Jessica (Erik) Fuhlbruck, Josh and Orin (Stace) Neal, Ryan and Keegan Lynch, Danielle, Evan, Collin and Rhys Gorski; 4 Great-grandchildren; Emma Gorski, Clara Neal, Lucien and Riddick Fuhlbruck; sisters-in-law, Sue Gorski, Helen Brennan, Dorothy Marcil; brother-in-law Jack (Marilyn) Marcil. John was born in Latham, N.Y. in August of 1921. A World War II veteran, he served proudly in the Army 1st Battalion under General Darby. John graduated from Sienna College and spent his career as a Manufacturer's Representative, primarily in the woman's apparel business. An active member of St. Salome's parish, John was an Irondequoit resident for the last 53 years. John was an avid golfer, starting the game as a caddy in his teens and playing into his mid 80's. He shared his passion for the game as well as some golf pointers with his children and his many golfing friends. Thanks to St. Ann's Community 8th floor where John received gentle care from his many "girlfriends". The family is also thankful for the care he received at the Rochester General Hospital dialysis outpatient unit. His life will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday July 23 at St. Salome's Church 4282 Culver Rd. Irondequoit.
