Obituary of William R. Brown

(Winter Haven, FL/Irondequoit): Passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at age 85. Pre-deceased by his wife, Patricia Brown; parents, Robert and Agnes Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his children, William K. (Keiko) Brown, Sue Anne (John) Kawecki, Ross (Amie) Brown; grandchildren, Dylan (Katie) Brown, Chloe Brown, Karin (Aaron) Kibbey, Tina (James) Rapp, & James (Alisa) York; great grandchildren, Gillian & Liah Kibbey, Nicholas, Matthew, & Jacob Rapp, & Lincoln York; sister, Arlene Parry, nephew, Douglas Parry; & several nieces and nephews. Bill was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving in the South Pacific. He built and retired from Eagle Vale Golf Club. Throughout his career he was a Green Keeper and Superintendent at many golf courses. After retiring he was able to enjoy his passion for playing golf. He was a member of F.L.A.G.C.S and of the Elks Club. His family will receive friends MONDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held TUESDAY 10:00am. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
