Elyjiw, Zenon A.
Rochester: Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his son, Alexander. He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Daria; children, Vera (Yuri) Sytch, Marta (Harry) Brewer, George Elyjiw, Peter (Tamara) Elyjiw; grandchildren, Konstantin, Kalyna, Natalia Sytch, Tim, Katie, Mike Brewer, Danya and Mark Elyjiw, and Lucas Elyjiw. Zenon was passionate about Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) and published a book entitled "Twenty Score of Easter Eggs."
His family will receive friends FRIDAY 3:00 - 6:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). (Panachyda 6pm) Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00am at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Plast Camp (Novyi Sokil), C/O 339 Puritan Rd, Tonawanda. NY 14150.
